To ensure the highest quality standards, we hand pour all of our candles and melts in small batches in our home studio. Our ingredients include premium wax blends, fine fragrance oils, liquid dye, and lead-free wicks. Each candle or melt is scented with the maximum amount of fragrance oils recommended by our wax suppliers. Although fragrances do vary in strength, it is also important to remember that scent is subjective. What may be light to one person may be considered to be strong by someone else. Please note that although every effort is made to photograph/describe the color of each candle or melt accurately, we cannot guarantee that every computer monitor will properly display the actual color of the product. Laughing Crow Candle Co. is not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury due to the improper use of our products. It is very important that you burn candles/melt wax responsibly to ensure their safe use. For best results, please be sure to follow these guidelines:

Wax Melt Safety and Usage Tips
- Remove packaging before use.
- Place warmer(s) on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects, and out of reach of children and pets.
- Use only in tea light warmers or UL listed electric warmers approved for wax melts.
- Read and follow all instructions provided with your warmer before use.
- Do not leave warmer unattended while in use.
- Do not add water.
- Do not melt on stove top or in non-approved appliances.

Candle Safety and Burning Tips
- Remove all packaging before lighting.
- Place candle(s) on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects, and out of reach of children and pets.
- Keep wick(s) trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times.
 If smoking occurs, blow candle out. Trim wick(s), remove trimmings, and relight.
- Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or any combustible material.
- Keep the wick centered.
- Avoid burning candles in drafts.
- Never leave burning candles unattended.

Wax Memory
When burning your candle for the first time, it is important to allow it to burn until the melt pool reaches the edge of the container. This will help to minimize the amount of wax that is left of the sides of the jar (also known as “tunneling”), which can affect the scent throw of the candle. Allowing your candle to create this initial “memory burn” will result in a complete burn and increased scent throw.

All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. You will receive a tracking notification once your item has been shipped. In stock items typically leave our studio within 1-3 business days. Made to order items will have a lead time listed in the item's description. All orders are carefully packaged for shipment in our best effort to ensure that your candles and melts arrive safely.

International Customers

International orders may take up to 2-3 weeks from shipping date. International customers are responsible for any customs fees and/or tariffs depending on your country.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Orders
Unfortunately, we do not have any more information than you do once an item is shipped. If there is a problem with your shipment, please contact your local post office and give them your provided tracking number. Laughing Crow Candle Co. is not responsible for stolen packages, lost items that cannot have the insurance claimed (tracking labels that read "Delivered"), or any other delays/errors made by the Post Office.

Returned Orders
Please verify that you have provided the correct mailing address before placing an order. If a customer has entered incorrect information, they are responsible for additional postage to resend it. If you choose not to have it resent, we will refund you the cost of the items less the original shipping fees.

Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the nature of our products, used candles and wax melts cannot be returned or refunded. If there has been an error on our part or you have received a defective item, you may return any unused product within 7 days for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, customers must make arrangements with us prior sending any items back. Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs. Refunds will be given for the item cost only, shipping costs are non-refundable. Candle accessories and wax warmers are final sale.
